The moon shines upon us

With its hazy luminosity

And its cold breath

We take this stand

I take your hand

And my heart stops

Your eyes fixed on me

I stare into yours

And my pulse beats again

Staggering quickly

Under yours

The clouds surrounding the moon

Give another glow

And glare

We stare

Into each other’s eyes

And you fade away
